General Requirements

The SD/SDV-Series must be disposed of in accordance with applicable national laws, regulations, and environmental requirements.

Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)

The SD/SDV-Series complies with:

  • EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU

This directive restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

Restricted substances include:

  • Lead (Pb)

  • Cadmium (Cd)

  • Mercury (Hg)

  • Hexavalent chromium (Cr⁶⁺)

  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)

  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)

  • Phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP)

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

The SD/SDV-Series is subject to:

  • EU WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU

Note

The product must NOT be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. It must be collected separately and handled through approved recycling systems.

Importer and Distributor Responsibilities

Importers and distributors must comply with national WEEE registration and reporting requirements.

Requirements vary by country and may include registration in national WEEE systems, reporting of quantities placed on the market, and financing of recycling schemes.
